Trev, is a fictional character in the television series This Is England, and she is portrayed by Danielle Watson.
Characterization
Trev is a quiet, shy member of the group who is best friends with Kelly. She wears iconic Fred Perry Harrington Jackets and polos, brogues and Levi's Jeans. She was part of the skinhead gang, and good friends with Lol, Kelly, Pob, Smell and the others.
Character History
1983
At This is England, Trev was a blondie skingirl that didn't say much during all the film. She is seen hanging around with the gang, and helps shave Shaun's head. Her, Pob and Kelly are not present when the group split.
1986
This Is England '86 was a centric series for Trev. In This Is England '86 Episode 3, When the world cup game against Poland was on, Trev stops by Lol and Kelly's parents house to get Kelly to head down to the pub to watch it. Kelly had already left, and her father Mick was waiting at the house. Mick invited Trev in, telling her Kelly was on her way. She awkwardly watches the football match with Lol's dad, Mick. The episode ends with Mick violently raping Trev, whom he later tells to leave.
Trev then doesn't go home, and waits outside Lol's flat all night traumatized by what happened. She waits for Woody and Milky to leave and she then goes into the flat to see Lol. After much deliberation, Trev tells Lol that she was raped by Mick. She shows her the bruising and marks from the night before. Lol tells her go to sleep. She then goes to Mick's house, armed with a hammer to confront him.
Later, Mick was killed, allegedly by Combo, and Trev listened to the England vs Argentina game with Lol, Woody, Milky, and Kelly.
1988
Trev is usually seen in the pub, hanging around with Kelly, Gadget and Harvey. Her role isn't as prominent as the series before.
Trev was still hanging around with Kelly and the others, and is first seen in the pub. Trev was present as Woody confronted and attacked Milky. She went home with Kelly and insisted on seeing Lisa, Lol's child, but as they went upstairs they found Lol had taken an overdose in a suicide attempt. They rang the ambulance and Trev went round to Woody's house to tell him. Trev and Woody went to the hospital and when they got there Trev realised that Lol had survived, and Woody went downstairs to see her. Trev stars to cry but Kelly comforts her. Her final scene is when her, Milky, Kelly and Chrissy are eating and talking on the empty hosipital ward.
